Too many little things

I actually had a post in mind for this evening, but am going to bed early with a man who is crabby and needs a wife who'd rather be with him than sitting in front of the computer writing a post.

Today was the annual licensing inspection for my site. I learned that my former supervisor was really good at making things look effortless and that I didn't know as much about the process as I thought I did.

But let me predict here that next year's inspection will be effortless-looking due to my new supervisor's efforts. She really is on the ball and catching on fast. I have high hopes for her in many directions, and so far am enjoying working with her.

I have some cars I bought over the summer at Goodwill for the kids to play with outdoors. Today was the first day of the school year that we took them outside to play with. You'd have thought I presented the boys with, hm, what's the playground equivalent to the keys to the city?  They were ecstatic. And they got their hands dirty. Likewise their knees.

I still have the headache, but the migraine medication was effective this afternoon, the too-short-but-great nap helped, and I am going to go snuggle up to a warm man and sleep like a brick.

Boring? Yep, that's me.
