Okay, so there's more...

I can't be 100% sure that Fluffy isn't reading my blog.
I am aware of how paranoid that sounds, and I'd have to agree.

Except.
Fluffy's a narcissist.
She has worked to get back at a few people I'm acquainted with.

She isn't a nice or decent person.

So I can't tell you everything that's going on.
I can tell you that her meddling has set things in motion that I hadn't expected, and that they're good things. Best revenge imaginable... her machinations are going to backfire on her.

I can also tell you that while she was between jobs, (which is surprisingly often... the woman hops between jobs like a fuckin' kangaroo on speed)  faithful Ferret Face, her husband, got her an interim job where I work. And hm. What's a word for 'disliked by everyone she encountered'?

Never mind.
Although most of the people who read here have never been exposed to her brand of toxicity, the stuff I've written about her ought to paint a small picture.

And everyone at my office who knows her wishes they didn't know her.

So do you remember the dollhouse? I bought one on Craigslist not too long after I started working at my current job. I left several doll houses and Polly Pocket dolls at my old job, thinking that it wouldn't be fair to the kids to leave AND to take all the stuff they loved with me.

I left a lot of things. Heard not too long after I left that Fluffy and Fluffy Jr came in and tossed most of it into the trash. Assholes.

But once again I'm wandering away from the topic. The ADD way I write and think and act is firmly ingrained, I'm afraid.

Last week Tracy and Hayden were playing with the dollhouses (I have two, Lyssa gave me a Hello Kitty house, too) and using the dolls that came with the original. There are grandparent dolls in the mix.

Colin wandered over and fished the grandpa doll out of the bin. He sat down on the rug with the younger kids (both Hayden and Tracy are six) and interacted with their characters a bit.

Then, their characters decided it was time to go to bed for the night.
They spent a couple minutes choosing pillows and blankets and put the dolls to sleep.

Colin's grandpa doll sat in the TV room for a minute, then he wandered around outside in the flowers. Then, he started looking into the dollhouse  windows.

Tracy, after observing Grandpa looking in her window, said, "I never thought Grandpa would be creepy. He's an old man!"

Then she said in an affronted tone, "Well! I stand corrected!"

  1. so a grandfather is not allowed to look at his family through the windows? sigh. I thought it was quite sweet of him to do that. Goes to show... I sit corrected (no more standing for me today)
Also, I'm relieved to see I'm not the only person with ADD writing/thinking too fast and losing track. But I then get lost and no one understands what I'm rambling about anymore...
Have a wonderful new week as from tomorrow.
    groetjes!

    1. Well, it was Colin looking through the windows. And although one can't put an expression on a doll's face, Colin's face was rather impish. :-D Not sure what his intentions were, I think he was just being funny.

My brain is like a pinball machine. In retrospect, I probably could have benefited from some extra help with focus in school, but I don't think medication would have been a good choice. I'm sure it's just as well that no one recognized the obvious.

you have a good week, too!!

  2. May Fluffy self destruct in the most public way possible (and take Ferret Face with her).

    1. You know, there's just no justice in the world. I am hoping that she will decide that my school isn't a good place for her shitty program, but she's arrogant enough to think that she can kick us out of there.

Ferret Face, as far as I know, is a decent person. He's well spoken of and admired. On the social occasions where my half of the company has to mix/mingle with his, I've heard it's 'a bit awkward' to be around Fluffy.

"We say hello and very carefully don't sit by each other or have conversation beyond, 'how are you' and then smile and nod."

    1. I hope I get to watch.

It bears repeating... If I were walking down the street drinking a bottle of water and saw her on fire, I'd drink the water.

  4. Regarding section 1 of post: "faithful Ferret Face" -- I love the names you use to protect the identity of others. I am sure there are times you'd love to use their real names and just riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip on 'em. But you handle it all professionally and admirably. I enjoy your writing very much.

    1. I *could* use their real names, as the stuff I've said about them is factual to the best of my knowledge.
But I'm sort of juvenile, so calling them by (very fitting) nicknames amuses me.

I enjoy *writing*. I'm glad people like reading it.

  5. Fluffy and Ferret Face should move to an island and live happily ever after ALONE

    1. I am almost positive that if I started a Go Fund Me with the purpose of sending them away forever, I could get a lot of contributions. :-D

  6. I think it's awful that they threw the toys away. What a waste. Poor kids.

    1. "They're just PLAYING!" Yeah, 'cause everyone knows kids don't learn anything unless they're at a desk or table, being TAUGHT.
I really hate that bitch and her little gang of bitchettes.
