Having a little trouble with a headache.
This is one of my 'doubles'. It's two headaches in one. Migraine medication takes care of one of them, then I have to take Excedrin to kill the other half. I know how weird that sounds, but there it is.
Right now I've mostly fought it to a draw. Sitting in the living room watching Olympic coverage that's two days old, fast forwarding through all the stuff that we don't care about, all the commercials, all the blah blah blah.
I'm getting ready to turn the computer off and grab my tangly stuff and draw a little while we sit. Working on a little seahorsie with some plants beside him.
We did manage the grocery shopping today. Our weekly date. I love hanging out with my man. He's still my favorite person to hang out with.
I want to try to write about an ongoing attitude thing in my program but haven't had the time and brain-without-pain long enough to manage it.
Kids have been doing zentangle stuff at work, and really enjoying it. I took in some of my graphite pencils and blending stubs for them to experiment with on Friday. They felt special, using 'real artist stuff' as Ariana* put it.
I have the tangle I posted here a couple days ago on the table where the parents sign in and out so they can see what the kids are doing. It makes the creators of the art work very proud to have people see their work and comment favorably on it.
So I am going to close the lid on the beast here and grab another Excedrin before bed, I don't want the headache back. Ughhhh.
Happy Sunday.
And on Monday, I don't have to work. Not getting up early, don't have to.
:)
Here's to waking up today headache free. Happy Sunday :)
ReplyDeleteHope your headache (both sides of it) goes away! Enjoy your day off tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMigraine medication takes care of one of them, then I have to take Excedrin to kill the other half."
ReplyDeleteActually, that's pretty common. Depending on WHY you get the migraine, the migraine specific meds could take care of that and the Excedrin could take care of "swelling" or muscle related stressors.
Have a great Sunday/Monday. :)
