Impotence

No one wants to admit to it, of course.

But I can stand up today before you all and admit that I'm impotent.

I can't do anything about the latest fuckings we're getting from "our" government. One definition of being impotent, of course.

First, the pile of steaming shit that is Obamacare. Talk about fucking people!! People cannot afford what is being offered, I understand the penalties can include losing your home if you don't buy the insurance or pay the fines. Please, feel free to send me some links and prove me wrong on that, I'd appreciate it.

I said goodbye to the USA as we knew it several years ago, as things have gotten progressively worse. The operant part of that word, of course, is progressive. The meaning of progressive with regards to our government is, "Here. Let us take your money and distribute it more fairly to the less fortunate."

Yes, that gives people a lot of incentive to work hard. When no matter how hard they work, they don't get to keep a large portion of what they earn because it's stolen from them before they ever get a paycheck.

And our "representatives" are nothing but piles of shit, too. They aren't representing anyone but themselves. Of course you'll hear republicans and democrats (not capitalized on purpose, so shut up, grammar police) blame the other guys, but the truth is, if they wanted to do something about the situation, they would.

Did you notice how fast they exempted themselves from the healthcare fiasco? And that vote was cheerfully and unashamedly bipartisan, now wasn't it?

Fucking dickheads.

Before they passed this unconstitutional legislation, back when I was still silly enough to believe that saying something to my congressman or senator was actually worth my time, I got some really swell form letters in return. And all the fucks from Oregon voted to pass it so, like Nancy Pelosi, they could see what was in it.

I am not saying I hate them, but if I saw one of them on fire and I had a glass of water, I'd drink the water.

Last week when that poor mentally ill woman crashed into the barricade in DC, our local what-passes-for-news station, KGW, was quick to assure us that all Oregon's representatives were safe.

I don't have to tell you that I was really disappointed, do I?

The government has 'shut down' and is making it as painful as possible for us. Since we can't do a thing about it.

That arrogant and narcissistic bastard in the White House is quite a petulant and spoiled little boy, isn't he?

Closing the national parks. Because of course you need the government to be able to walk in the woods.

I was doing some research today about bats for the upcoming week at work. And there were two websites I was interested in looking at. Both had the same message... that they were currently closed due to the federal government shutdown.

Give me a fucking break.

Telling military chaplains they're not allowed to pray with people... no services to be held. Jesus Christ.

Of course the turds in Washington still get paid. Not that they need the money, for most of them their congressional or senate paychecks are just gravy on their mashed potatoes.

So I send out a big fuck you to "our" president, his minions, all republicans, all democrats, and to the people who continually shit on us.
We're getting tired of it.

Or I guess I can only speak for myself.
*I* am tired of it.

    1. I know I'm not alone. What I don't understand is why those of us who've had enough are vilified and dismissed. And they wonder why we're angry!!

  2. Most refreshing to have someone totally vent their spleen. Thank you.

I mean that. So many folks are wishy-washy about it, but you just let it all hang out. And I agree with most of what you say, so more power to you!

    1. I know that most of my readers agree with me. I think there are a lot of people just like me out there, too. But how to translate that into taking back our country? Voting doesn't mean shit. The entire process is rigged and it's a joke and a lie. I have to tell myself that, because I can't imagine that the current crop of fuckheads was actually elected.

    1. Too bad fat old housewives/babysitters aren't running the country, huh? We'd make everyone treat everyone else with respect and give them Legos to play with when they're getting into trouble.

    1. I don't understand why we're stuck where we are. It's like half the country has gone fucking nuts. Simply put, though, the people who think that free shit is really free have taken over.

  6. Thank you for that, very true. Refreshing to not hear someone just say they're being immature or stupid. Ditto to everything you said.

    1. Since writing this a week ago, I have tried to figure out how that many people could be so fucking stupid all at once... and I'm getting no rational answer.

  7. Now I know why your blog is blocked by the firewall at the semi-super-secret government agency at which I work. You're one of THOSE people... you know, normal, average, though highly irritated, Americans. We can't have any of that sort of stuff on our networks, now can we? But I'm furloughed, so I can catch you at home. (But don't tell anyone...) I really did need the time off, anyway, and since this scenario has been brewing for some time, I put aside a bit of cash to cover the bills for a while, so I should be OK. And now I can check your blog in the middle of the day!

    1. Sorry about the furlough. Send your thanks up to the assholes in DC for it... it wasn't my idea. It KILLS me that certain keywords make it so I'm censored... because if obama and his minions are afraid of the words of an overweight housewife sitting at a table in Oregon... well, that's sort of scary, isn't it?
