I picked up the orthotics on my way to work today.
I didn't have time to fit them to my shoes, though, so I had to wait until this evening to do that.
The first pair I had was really difficult to get used to.
I was told not to wear them for more than 20 minutes at a time. When I first tried them, I was horrified. I wasn't able to wear them for 20 seconds!! They were SO different. I had to buy some of the little ones you find in the grocery store, add more of them, and gradually work my way up to trying the orthotics.
And of course I got used to them, they worked really well and I didn't have pain in my feet for quite awhile.
But my feet have adjusted, I needed new ones... and oh. my. god. they feel SO weird. I sure hope I can adjust to them quickly. I have my old ones in my backpack, my new ones in my shoes and I'm going to be working on it. Wish me luck because DAMN.
Hey I just got new orthotics too! My right foot feels awesome, my left foot.... Not so much!
