Ha.
I'm sure I got your attention.
Here's a little backstory.
Every year or so, Eric's dad sends him some pecans from Looseyanna.
This year, in a fit of generosity, he has done it twice.
So far.
And last week, when the second box arrived as we were finishing up with the first one, Eric said, "What the hell am I going to do with all these nuts?"
Of course we had suggestions, some of which are even suitable for print. But I'll leave them to your imagination, which can be a lot more fun.
When Eric found out Saturday night that Tami was stopping by, he said, "Hey, let's give them my nuts!"
After a fair amount of jokes, we established that really, they're Eric's FATHER'S nuts. So he put his father's nuts in his own sac(k) and gave them to my best friend.
And all evening we made jokes.
Which I'm sure you are just... full of.
Leave me one in the comments. I could use a laugh.
"Have nuts, will travel"..
ReplyDeleteI would have liked to a fly on the wall and hear what you guys REALLY said!!
(Thank you so much for your words of comfort. Means so much to me)
*giggle*
ReplyDeleteRoasted or plain?
Thats just nuts!!!!! :P
ReplyDeleteoh my God, pecans. Are they salty nuts? Because I could definitely go for some salty nuts if you have any more to give away. Lol. SO dang hard to find pecans here!
ReplyDeleteI wish they WERE salty.. can you imagine how much more mileage we could get out of talking about Eric's SALTY nuts?
ReplyDeleteHa.
Hah ha!! Love it. I mean the story.. not Eric's FATHER'S nuts. LOL And I love me some pee-cans too!
ReplyDeleteWell if it's pecans , and he sends more , you could always ship me a sac of nuts!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it!
ReplyDeleteI'm fresh out of nut sac jokes!
Now if Eric's dad had sent him some balls, I'd be all over it.
The joke. Not the balls.
Were his nuts crushed or whole? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteI love nutty family stories. Thanks for the clarification. :)
