My hands are purple.

We made flubber at work on Friday afternoon.
Reese* and his Flubber

And the last batch I made myself with the borax/glue turned out sort of pale blue... so this time I added a lot of food coloring.

A lot.

And all the kids went home with purply-stained hands.

Oops. My bad.

Not much of a post. My brain is busily writing one, but I don't know if it's going to show up here soon or not.

The past month or so, I have felt the anxiety start to ramp back up, and it's gotten to the point now that I've made another appointment with my doctor. I see her Monday morning.

::sigh::

I'd just really enjoy sleeping without benefit of medication.
And without the nightmares.
And without waking up all scrunched up like I'm awaiting a blow.

That may have something to do with my back being out for two weeks now.

At least I'm not helpless about that... I see my favorite chiropractor this weekend. And in between ouches and ow ow ow, I can chat with Tami.

So it's not all bad.

:)

  5. We LOVE to make flubber! We put it in little condiment containers (you know the kind that are on salsa bars etc...little plastic ones) for party favors.

  6. Flubber is the best, and so are purple hands. It gives the kids something to talk about later, and no excuse to say they did "nothing" at school today. :)

I also would like to sleep...but I have miles to go...

  8. Love the flubber color! It's beautiful and definitely note worthy for the kids to discuss later.

take care of yourself Ami, plenty of water and maybe with working with the chiro... ask about possibly using massage (if you're ok with it - some people aren't) it helps with muscle, stress and anxiety to name a few. Hope you feel better soon.
