Sooo done with the stupid political crap.
We get call after call after call. And we ignore them. Hit the ringer button to silence the ringer and just go on with our lives.
So if you've tried to call in the last few weeks and we didn't answer... email me.

I may have mentioned here once or twice that I hate what's going on with our country, and that I'm not super impressed with the hypocritical assholes currently in charge.
Doesn't matter. We'll elect a new crop of hypocrites... party affiliation doesn't seem to matter.
They've realized they can have whatever they want and are unencumbered by a conscience.
How do we put an end to that?
I always hear 'vote' but usually, the person I vote for loses.
And the 'winner' is anything but.
Gah.
It will all be over on Tuesday. For awhile at least.
And we'll have a new crop of futtbuckers, willing to futt us repeatedly.

Cynical? No.. Fed up? Yes.. as most of us are..by the time real change that can help us ALL arrives, i'll be stting in a lawn chair, too damn old to blink or care ...Gotta get off this rant as i feel ye olde blood pressure starting to rise..

I wouldn't doubt thet you are frustrated ,with all the negative rhetoric on TV AND they are phoning you? good grief! Our elections are much quieter here , sometimes you can nearly miss it altogether

There should something, a button to push?, that stops the phone calls, mailings and door knockers, once you mail in your ballot. Did mine some time ago but still get the calls and such. So annoying!
ReplyDeleteI always vote for the one I think will screw it up the least. :) I am counting the hours til I don't have the papercuts from delivering all the mailings...UGH!
ReplyDeleteCampaigns in California have been especially ugly and hideously expensive this year. I can't wait until Tuesday when the tv and radio commercials end. I'm so sick of it.

You sound fed up. I am too. I am so glad tomorrow is voting day. I am sick of phone calls and knocks on the door and signs everywhere and commercials!!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing we notice up here, watching your political commercials is the difference in approach. We know the horrible things that opposing people say about each other. We have no idea really what the person stands for. Here the commercials are less nasty, negative and the politician toots their own horn rather than cutting the other person off at the knees. Of course at the federal level we have seen a little of that, but it just doesn't seem to so bad or maybe I am just not listening ;-) . I am always glad when the election is over and the signs come down and life gets back to normal.
