They canceled school on Wednesday and TOTALLY could have had a full day.
Then, on Thursday, they started as a regular day, but it snowed and snowed, so they let the elementary school out early... by HALF AN HOUR!!
Sheesh.
So I still haven't had to be at work this week. Yesterday, I finished painting the Christmas cards, addressed them and mailed them, did a load of laundry, shopped for some groceries, paid the bills online, and took pictures of kids and hubby and the giant snowball, which now sits in the field across the street at the school.
If they do not close the schools today (Friday) I will have to be at work at 6:30. AM. Dammit.
Sunshine's dad is having heart surgery and she cannot be there to open.
I could use the hours, but I really don't wanna.
By the time this posts I will either be back in bed, trying to drift back into sleep... or driving slowly and carefully all the way across town. Shivering. Swearing. But hopefully not swerving. Which is unnerving.
Hmph.
I'm telling you, we need to trade..it is currently 70 something, but alias, it will change by Sunday morning when it is suppose to drop some 50 degrees with rain, so that means, ice, right?
