But I'm working on it. It's not ready yet.
Do you write that way? I know people who just sit down and write. Magic. Sometimes (rarely) that happens to me. Usually, though, I end up thinking about what I'm going to say and how I'm going to say it long before my fingers ever hit the keys.
So I have this post percolating. Sort of a rant on keeping things to yourself. Make sense? Probably not. But it will if I ever write it.
Most of the time I write in the evening, or sometimes get this mad inspiration and write like five posts at once and set them to auto post so I don't have to think about it.
I realize there is no big cash prize for posting daily (and damn, I'd like to have a nickel for every post I wrote before I figured that out... ha.) and that it doesn't really matter to anyone except me if I manage to post daily, but I still want to. I just want to see how long I can manage to keep it up.
According to blogger, I have posted 958 posts. This one will be 959. That means that sometime in February, I'll reach 1000 posts. Which was never a goal. And probably doesn't mean anything.
Meanwhile, it's 9:30 PM. Past my regular bedtime.
Last night, Eric set the alarm clock for the first time in more than two weeks. It was really weird to think about having to wake up.
And I plan to go Goodwill Hunting with Tami in 12 hours. That means it's time to set this post to post all by itself and go to sleep.

ReplyDeleteYay on hitting 1000. I have nearly 1000 too - and now it's a goal, sort of.
ReplyDeleteMore, though, I'm curious what it is you're thinking about. I have things that I just spew and write quickly and others that I have to mull over for days and weeks to get it tweaked in my own head. So hurry up and get tweaking!
