Well, I finally figured out how to subscribe to blogs instead of clicking on them one at a time to see if they've been updated overnight. This is going to save me a bit of time once I get all the blogs I read added on.
There are a few I'm addicted to, and those are the ones I want to check twice a day at least to see if there's anything new on them. I probably need to get out more.

Ever notice how some people can take the most mundane topic and make you smile/think/agree/nod as they write about it?
It doesn't have to be about a crisis or something amazing... just regular family life. I can definitely relate to the mundane, the fiddly details of running a house and trying to just get by. Trying to keep everyone dressed in clean clothes and making sure they get fed daily.

I would be doing laundry right now, but we ran out of laundry soap. I will have to get dressed and go to the grocery store before any laundry gets done. I did manage to shower already, though.

Have you ever noticed that all your household products run out at once? That when you run out of dishwasher soap, you're also out of paper towels, deodorant, floor cleaner and tampons? Why is that? Is it a manufacturer's conspiracy? If it is, who benefits from the mass purchase of these commodities?

I have been having dreams that stick with me upon waking. This is unusual, because most of the time they just turn to fog and blow away as I open my eyes. I haven't been having nightmares, just vivid dreams of things that are important to me. Evidently I'm trying to work out a few things that I didn't even know needed work.
Or I'm finally losing it, which is a distinct possibility. Runs in the family.

Both days this weekend, Eric and I stayed in bed until 10. Heavenly. It's nice to occasionally catch up on our rest.
He worked 14 days in a row to get the home show in... and then broken down a couple days later.

I'll be going now. I've been talking for 10 minutes and have said nothing.
Have a good day. Enjoy the sunshine if you're having any... and try to stay cheerful if you're not.
I love my blog subscriptions. I could never go back to bookmarks and if a blog doesn't have an RSS feed, I don't read it. I can't remember to look it up.
ReplyDeleteThat first one about the subscribing to blogs will be good for you. It was for me...until I found I have way too many that I am subscribed....
ReplyDeleteYou, my dear, are one of those people who take the every day and make me really think about it.
ReplyDeleteI am one of those people who stalk a site day, but my list of blogs is growing, so I may have to move to subscriptions.
I use the RSS reader. I like it. I just use it as a guide and end up pressing the link on my blog to get there anyway.
