It seems to me that the cell phones you fasten to the side of your head came out about the same time as the warning about how shooting all those waves into your brain can cause a brain tumor.
Which doesn't explain why my neighbor, Cletus is now wearing a cell phone. I think his is held on with duct tape.
His head sits directly on his shoulders since he has no neck. but he still looks sort of Borg-ish with that thing on.
So what's up with the whole cell -phone-attached-to-your-head anyway? I went to the grocery store today. I saw seven people with cell phones fastened to their heads, and five people with a conventional cell phone held up to their ear.
Someone enlighten me as to why someone would attach the phone to their head? I mean I know it's not mounted with thumbtacks, but still.

I agree. They are the stupidest thing I've seen in the cell phone market yet. I hate them and will never get one. Another thing, I was almost ran into by at least 7 people driving while talking on the cell phone, over the Holiday. Why can't people just keep it simple anymore? Is it so hard to actually DRIVE and leave the damn phones alone??
ReplyDeleteI like to make fun of them...but you always tell me to be quiet when it gets funny...>_<
ReplyDeleteWe live in one of the few areas in the world that does not have cell service. I am grateful for that.
ReplyDeletePeople can't be "unconnected" for one minute, you know. Nevermind that with that stupid thing in their ear, they are unconnected with the place they are currently.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who uses one and I tell her to take it off when around me, because it looks like she's talking and I'm ignoring her. Or worse, she's talking to herself.
I like my cell phone. I like texting more than talking, lately. But when I'm with someone, egads, I'm not going to spend time talking to someone else!
