Hello? Hello?

So back in January ( I think, and I'm too lazy to go and try to find the post) we replaced Alyssa's phone.

I ordered a refurbished one and although it showed up as delivered, she did not receive it.
So I ordered another one, thinking that I'd let the vendor know it had never showed up and get my money back.

About a week after her new phone was up and running, the replacement that I'd originally ordered showed up at her place.
::sigh:::

So I was going to send it back.
But I didn't do it in a timely manner, so it's been sitting in its little white box on my dishwasher since the end of January.

While I was closing down my site this evening, my phone buzzed at me. Then it shut off.

Weird.
Okay, maybe the battery is dead.

So I put it on the charger and finished putting stuff away only to have it still refuse to work.

Plugged it into the car charger on the way home and still nothing.

Sad, but that little phone served me faithfully for a long time. It was a 2016 phone, I bought it in 2019 as a refurbished one and used the hell out of it.

So after I grabbed my dinner I pulled out the sim card and transferred it to the new(er) phone.

Took a little work, but I got it up and running only to realize that I can't get all my phone numbers off the old phone because it won't turn on.
::sigh again::

I did read a bit here and there on ye olde internet and found a way to shut the old phone off completely, it kept cycling to on, buzz, on, on, on ,on... but never booted up.

So I shut it down. Then I tried turning it on again. It worked.
Temporarily.

Then I had to reset it again. Now it's sitting here blinking a blue light at me and won't start and won't shut completely down.

My photos did transfer because they're in my Google stuff, but I don't know if it's possible for me to get my phone numbers.

I HATE going to the Verizon store. Hate it.
They're usually pretty nice, professional and helpful. But three times in the past, they've changed my plan on me without my consent or request, then I've had to call someone to get it fixed.
If you're saying 'what's the big deal' then you really have no idea how passionately I hate having to talk to anyone on the phone. Ever.

So I have a phone with a bunch of photographs but can't send them via text to anyone 'cause I don't have their phone numbers.

Sheesh.
