Harry made some playing cards from a piece of regular paper today.
He brought them to me and said earnestly, "Want to see a card trick?"
I agreed.
He fanned them out in his hands and said, "Pick a card, any card!"
So I chose one. He said, "Okay, look at your card and memorize it, then put it back in the deck."
I did.
He
then shuffled them around (the way we all did as kids... not a real
shuffle) and then put the deck down on my table in a stack.
He tapped the deck, then flipped over the top card.
"Is this your card?" he asked me.
"Nope."
"Are you sure?"
"Yep."
He laughed and went off do to his card trick with someone else.

ReplyDeleteHe's a great little guy. I called him Harry because he wore some plastic HP specs last week and he seriously resembled the young Daniel Radcliffe. What a crackup. Card trick. LOL

ReplyDeleteIt's funny, he's one of those kids that the other kids either love or hate. Not a lot of middle ground. He has a forceful personality and is definitely not everyone's type. I like kids of all sorts, but the really quirky ones are my favorite variety.
