You MUST go read this.
Then tell me why this was ever allowed to be filmed.
Why it's being promoted.
What the hell is wrong with people?
The person who wrote the review is a mom and a survivor of childhood abuse. And she thinks it's a good idea to show this movie to your kids as a way to open a dialog. To show them what to watch out for.
I disagree so strongly that I don't even have words.
Have we not learned any lessons from history? From RECENT history!
This is shameful.
I'm not seeing anything with the link except a short bio on some lady. Maybe it's my stupid tablet...
ReplyDeleteI emailed you the whole article.
DeleteI'll post a bit of the article tomorrow (or later today) here on my blog, too. Odd that the article has disappeared.
Read it.
DeleteI....just..don't know what to say....
I agree-- why was it even IN the movie?! Like she said, it was a fine movie without that. My kids have outgrown these types of movies but, if I'd read that review, trying to decide whether or not to take them to it,it would convince me NOT TO! I would certainly NOT take them for "the learning potential"!! Good grief!
