A little after 10 last night I got to hug my girl for the first time since June 8.
The airport is always an interesting place, so many people wandering around even in the middle of the night. I was surprised at the number of children I saw. School started today in my old district, but it started last week in a couple others. My own starts tomorrow.
Lyssa was originally supposed to be on a flight that got in around noon, but missed that first flight. They rescheduled her and didn't charge her anything extra.
I'm glad to have her home.
Today is set up day for me at my new program and I don't have time to say a whole lot. I'm sleepy, my eyes are all puffy and it's time to get in the shower.
I'll take some photos of my space if I can manage it, not sure if there's identifying information displayed, I haven't had a great deal of time to look around.
So that's the news. She's home. I'm sleepy. And now I'm zipping outa here.
Hurray!
