Weather we like it or not...

It's been raining this first week of Spring. Until today, when the sun came out and it was completely beautiful. Makes me wonder if the other 360 days a year that I have to endure the Oregon weather are worth it. ;)

I have had an interesting break with the kids. The usual mix, some who understand rules, some who are pretty clueless, kids with attitudes and meanness, kids who don't know to come tell someone if there are bad things being said/done. Yes of course we monitor, but it's not possible to catch everything that goes on.

Different projects every day, outdoor or gym time, lunch and conversation. I am doing the midshift, meaning I am not up at 5 and not at work until 6 PM.

I really can't believe it's almost Friday. Definitely looking forward to the weekend, although it hasn't been that bad at work.

Worst thing, I think, is that standing for extended periods of time causes my knee to fill up with water. It fucking hurts like hell is a little uncomfortable. Keeps me awake at night, unfortunately.  Not much I can do about it at this point.

I still need to get the big truck into the DMV to update the registration. I'm pondering doing it tomorrow, but if I don't manage it (Fridays aren't a great day to do government stuff, usually) I will drive it to work next week and go to the DMV that's closest to where I work. Almost never a line at that one.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another wonderful weather day. I will be calling the dermatologist, the podiatrist and the imaging place. Weird thing on my face, right foot has an... issue, and it's time for the mammogram. Doesn't that all sound exciting?

Yeah, to me, too.

Off to fold the last load of laundry and tuck the sheets back into the bottom of my side of the bed. They keep coming out, I think because I throw the covers off and on and off and on and off and on all damn night.

I'm going to the dollar store in the morning on my way to work to get some more pool noodles. I have some at my site, but there aren't any at our break program. I split them lengthwise and the kids can use masking tape and marbles and make huge marble runs.

Fun for them and keeps them occupied.
Okay. That's it. I need to go do some exercises to get the water out of my knee a bit and a hot shower.

  1. The DMV, Derm, Pod and imaging, not to mention work... exhausts me just thinking about it!
