Doing both this evening... movie date with the hubby in the living room.
I am in the process of hauling all my drawing supplies into my little corner and getting my comfy pajammie pants out of the dryer.
We've reached geezerhood.
Funny. Spell check queried pajammie and geezerhood.
We left the house this morning about nine and didn't return until about 3. Goodwill hunting. Then I needed a couple smallish art supplies and some linen textured paper in white, so I hit Office Depot and Michael's. Eric likes to buy the cheap (from 25 cents to a buck) CDs from the cd/game exchange and listen to them. He sometimes finds some gems that way. Often, he finds nothing but crap. But even that has its good side, I can take them to work and use them for crafty things.
Life is good.
I have nothing of importance to say.
Huh. Maybe I should have put that at the top. A sort of disclaimer.
You never know what you're gonna get here. :)
Enjoy your date and drawing!
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice evening. We watched the box office flop, The Lone Ranger. Johnny Depp. Although I've never understood his appeal to women (and some men, I'm sure) he is a good actor.
DeleteI didn't know what to expect with this movie. It wasn't epic and unforgettable, but it was fun. The big action scene toward the end was huge, too. We enjoyed the movie and weren't sure why the public and critics hated it so much.
It wasn't the most amazing thing we'd ever seen, but it was entertaining.
I envy your relationship with your husband. Mine won't even take me to our Goodwill, and it's a big one; my brother tells me that it's under new management and is very well organized. Before Christmas they had a section devoted to Christmas sweaters and sweatshirts -- bu would DH let me take a gander? NOOOoooo. Such is the life of being totally dependent.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand he handles my infirmity with great care; his nursing skills are to be commended, so I try not to complain too much. (He takes any negative observation personally, whether it is about him or not. Alas.)
There's nothing wrong with geezerhood!!!
It sounds like he takes pretty good care of you. Eric wouldn't want to go to Goodwill as often as I do, but it's sort of a built in thing for me... I drive right past there in the mornings as I'm on my way home from work. It's pretty easy to just zip into the parking lot, cruise my favorite aisles and be out the door in a few minutes.
DeleteAnd whether there's something wrong with geezerhood or not, I have arrived. Nothing to be done about it now! :)
