I have never tried drawing on sculpey before.
I learned quite a bit from what I did this afternoon, and the next time I'll be able to put those things to use.
This is fairly small, about the size of a fifty cent piece. I will attempt to put a coat of decoupage on it and see what happens to the shading. It's all completely new territory for me, so it is a little lumpy.
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm also a little lumpy.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. I hope the decoupage works for it. I would probably try a spray varnish, too minimize chances of messing up the artwork.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Elaine, give it a light spray, of clear coat of some kind or at the least hairspray will do in a pinch as a fixative. Fun piece.
