Had my 'impartial' exam this morning.
I don't even want to talk about it, seriously.
I did tell him that the knee on the right works perfectly, and that "If you do that again I will kick you."
He didn't do it again.
I can tell you that my knee is a lot more sore this evening than it would have been otherwise. I'd like to be finished with all this stuff. It's been nearly five years since I was injured in the first place. Ha... and in the second place, too.
In a strange twist of fate, I will be opening at work tomorrow-which-is-today morning. I (yes, really) volunteered.
I will get up at 5. Get dressed and go to work. Open and talk to parents and kids and smile and be cheerful.
When the rest of the group heads out the door, I will run to the grocery store and come home and probably take a nap, as I usually do when I'm working a split shift.
Then, about the time everyone shows up back at our summer site, I will head back over there and be the smiling face that hangs out with kids until parents come to pick up.
The field trip involves walking. A long distance. And I can't do it.
::sigh::
That's it. Time to hang up my wet bras so I can wear a dry one tomorrow morning. I know, you don't need to know that.
But you do anyway.
Hanging bras and shirts so Tony and I can have clean clothes for work is a standard in this house. :) I hate that you're missing out on things with the kids because of the walking... I had to not participate in the relay for life with Oldest because I KNEW I'd never be able to walk and then work the next day. *sigh*
