The Problem

With posting daily is that everyone has this big unrealistic expectation that I can continue to do so indefinitely.

And sometimes I can.

But once again I stayed online talking to friends. Texas, Florida, Oregon. And talked to my mom online, too.

Then I was answering a letter from a new homeschool mom on a local homeschool discussion list.

I was kind of a smartass. Not TO her, but on her behalf. 'Cause of the whole 'socialization' thing. People are sort of... thick sometimes.

"
Isn't it odd how people like to mention socialization as if they expect us to say, "OH my GOD I never even THOUGHT of that!!!! I will put little Daisy back into school immediately, because there is just nothing better than the brand of social skills she will learn in the public institution. THANK YOU for pointing out the error of my ways!!!! You are like... Ghandi!! Mother Teresa!!! GOD!!!! THANK YOU!!!!"

So that's why I didn't really write a post this evening.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

  1. I've always been amazed at how anyone can post every single day.

  4. I could never post every day. I already decided not to do A-Z this year simply because I can't commit to anything for 30 days. I didn't do Winter Warrior this year because running on my ankle every day out side just wasn't going to happen... and then the -16 degree days came and I was THRILLED I wasn't doing it. So yeah... two posts a week from me at best is all I can muster right now.

Seriously... I have no idea how you do it.

  5. you do so well, I used to post nearly every day, but somehow I am lucky these days to get more than 2 a week! SO I certainly cannot complain if you miss a few!
