What did you do with your weekend?

I was boring. I did dishes and laundry and domestic stuff.
I changed the bed, something I like to do every week, but usually manage to do every two weeks or so.

Put the new electric blanket on the bed. My old one was tired and not working very well anymore. Time to retire it.

Matt came over Saturday to go hiking with Eric, and ended up staying for dinner. I cooked tacos.
Sunday I made a pot of chili. Cornbread.
We went grocery shopping. I loaded some boxes in the car flat and can't wait to fill them up with crap from my site that I'm not ever going to use. I am tired of the mess, tired of not being able to put anything away, and tired in general. It will be easier for me to get stuff done and be a little more organized.

My attorney's office actually called yesterday (Saturday) and that really helped with peace of mind over the weekend. I'm glad I didn't have to spend the weekend worrying over legal shit.

I have done a fair amount of reading over the weekend, too.

And I'm sure you'll be shocked (just like I was) that when the ACL is torn, there is a lot of degenerative effect in the knee joint. Evidently spending the last four years walking around on a torn ACL has done exactly that... ruined my knee.

Now what I am is mostly angry.
And I'm ready for a fight.

It's probably a good idea right about now not to piss me off.

I'm almost angry enough to be irresponsible and start firing off letters and emails in various directions. A whole lot of 'fuck yous' are in order.

I'm keeping a list.
Those letters will go out.
Of course the people who don't care still won't care after they get a letter from me.
That's fine.
I am still going to say it.
I plan to make as much noise as I can.
Eventually.

  1. Your weekend involved more than mine! I actually did force myself to do a load of laundry, but it was an effort.

You are STILL NOT showing up on my dashboard until I specifically click you in my list. THEN YOU MAGICALLY APPEAR.

What a tough week end. Since i am not working i do all the works daily, so no week end pain.

  3. Actually heard from a Lawyers office outside of business hours on a SAT! Better mark your calendar, that almost never happens. Good luck in your writing.
