Lyssa and I decided to hit the 6th St. Goodwill Tuesday morning.
I was walking along, minding my own business when she brought Him to me. His picture (in living color) was emblazoned on this weird-assed styrofoam egg. It made me feel peaceful just to hold it. Wait, no it didn't. Instead, it awoke in me this amazing urge to get my phone out.

Tuesday seems to be my day off lately. Since summer hours, well, SUCK DONKEY BALLS, we're each getting
Speaking of getting the shaft, I found an unusual pencil sharpener. It occurred to me that it's a pretty specialized item. Where (besides a proctologist's office) would such an item be needed?
Alyssa suggested, "Anywhere one uses a pencil sharpener. Besides a school."
No, I did not buy it.
Would you?

This is the second time in as many visits that you've found something related to Jesus. I think he's sending you a message. ;)
ReplyDeleteAlthough the pencil sharpener would not be appropriate for school, I'm sure the kids would get a kick out of it! Ha ha!
I am sure they'd find it hysterical.
DeleteAlso hysterical? It was in the TOY AISLE!!!
My 13 year old thinks the sharpener is simply HIGHlarious!
ReplyDeleteIt does have its humorous side... but I was really sort of surprised, too. Especially considering that it was in the toys. ::snort::
DeleteThat would be a no on the pencil sharpener.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even think of anyone that would appreciate it as a gag gift. I really was shocked.
DeleteAnd then Lyssa and I had a discussion about other things people could do with anatomically correct pencil sharpeners and decided we really don't want to know.
;0)
ReplyDeleteThere is someone for everything. ISUN!
