So glad that yesterday's fish debacle is over.
I took it easy today. I slept (off and on) until about noon, but since we didn't go to bed until around 1, we were up so many times between then and seven or so that I lost count, and it just was not a hugely productive day.
I hope I never have anything like that happen again!!
I've been tangling, Eric and I watched the retread they made out of Total Recall. It was a lot of fun, really. I like science fiction and seeing the laws of physics broken.
I took some photos of Leopold, and will get those up for you sometime this week, maybe Valentine's day. :)
I've been making lesson plans and have figured out that there is never enough time to do everything I want to do. Yeah, I'm a slow learner.
So I know I'm boring this weekend, I hope to never repeat the fish problem. Toward that goal, the fish went swimming into the trash can this morning. Ughhhh.
I'm going to set this to post and start getting ready for bed. Another weekend shot to hell. :)
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. Having a bad relationship with food sucks -- you know you've got to eat, but some days you wonder if the next thing you try eating is going to kill you. Yech.
ReplyDeleteWe watched the new version of Total Recall a couple of weeks ago. I remember thinking the first one was interesting, and sort of left us wondering what was real and what was a dream. We got to the end of this one and just thought, "Okay, whatever."
Like bookends in time... here I am, Saturday night a week later, (well, okay, Sunday morning at about three AM) responding to your comment. Seems the heartburn/reflux monster is gonna kill me. Arghhhhh.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this version of Total Recall, but the original one was much more my speed. I have it on VHS (and still have three or four VCRs to play it on) so I guess I'll have to watch it sometime soon. Maybe the next time I'm up at 3.
