There are many ways to learn.
For example, I learned this week that Effexor is not a good medication for me.
How did I learn that? Well, when the stuff is making your entire intestinal tract bleed, it's probably not a good choice for ya.
Farting out bubbles of blood is not my idea of fun and games, at least. But of course each to his or her own.
So I'm back to the prozac starting tomorrow.
After being on it a year without ill effects, I am thinking I'd rather do that.
Make sense?
Makes sense!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing the side effects that drugs have? Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteOMG!
ReplyDeleteYep, Makes sense.
Holy shit! Not good! Hope it doesn't mess with your brain too bad switching back to the prozac. Get to feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better and it's good you got off of it even if that didn't happen. I was on Effexor XR 150mg for six months and found it to be the most evil of all antidepressants with all kinds of side effects. So I quit cold turkey and had even worse problems with crazy withdrawls and brain zaps that lasted a few weeks.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds errrr...unpleasant. I am sorry you went through that. Hope the switch is a little less uhmm messy.
ReplyDeleteWOW. I never knew that as a side effect. I was on Effexor for a year WAY back.
ReplyDeleteIf the Prozac works darlin', why go with something else. :)
