In case you didn't check back in yesterday afternoon, the shirt thing was resolved.
From yesterday's update:
Called and talked to the manager.
After surprise and thanks for calling, I was told to 'enjoy my free shirt and thanks for shopping at Kohl's'.
So I feel okay now.
In fact, I think I am going to try to get back in there this week and pick up one or two more shirts. Prices were great and I like the ones I got so much that I wouldn't mind having a duplicate or two.
I mixed up a bunch of dye tonight. Going to teach a friend's kids how to tie dye on Saturday morning, then come home and do a little dyeing of our own.
Had PT on Friday afternoon. And ended up with a 5 med day.
::sigh::
I know the discomfort is necessary. And that I need to push things a little if I am to get my knee back. That doesn't mean I have to like it.
But damn. I baked cinnamon rolls for Shawn. And fed him lunch one day. And what did I get in return besides quite a lot of pain twice a week since July 6th?

A cane.
Yes, I now have a granny cane.
I am supposed to use it around the house or anytime I'm not wearing my brace. And ::sigh:: I imagine it will be coming to work with me for awhile, too.
Do you suppose my husband made fun of me? Maybe used the cane around the kitchen while making old gummer faces and wobbling around?

So it's nearly 11:15 PM and time for bed. I have to get up early so I can make it to my tie dye date.
Speaking of dates.... tomorrow evening I have a date with my hubby to go sit out somewhere in the woods and have a little campfire and hang out together.
I'll bring my cane. That way, if he teases me, I can whack him with it.

Your tie dye date sounds fun. What? You haven't whacked your husband with your cane already: that would have been the first thing I tried out lol!

Be nice to your husband and please don't whack him with your cane. My wife bops me on my head every once and a while and it don't feel so good! :-)
