Tag! I'm it... and Life is Good!

Miss Mayhem tagged me last week and I'm finally able to sit down long enough to actually ponder and try to formulate coherent answers and have a little fun with this.











First, she awarded me this lovely prize, which contains a rainbow, some sprinkles, little flowers and some sunshine... just like Oregon in the spring.























I have to answer the 10 questions she asked me. Then, I'm supposed to come up with 10 questions of my own for six other bloggers (if you can count, you know I fudged on that a bit.) And if you're tagged, you do the same.
(Or not... no pressure. It's just fun to do these.)
So first, the questions.
She asked me:

How old are you?:P
24.5 with 24.5 years of experience.

Do you have any tattoos, if so, how many and where?
Nope. I don't have a problem with the idea, and enjoy looking at other people's body art (scroll to the bottom of this post Cat Sass for a pic of one that I really like... ) it's just not something I've ever wanted to do. Besides. It hurts. I don't like pain.

Jensen Ackles or Jared padalecki? I have to admit that I have no idea who either one of these people are.

But here's an old favorite of mine. He resembles my hubby when he was younger. Yum.





















Spiders or snakes?
I think both are equally fascinating creatures, and well adapted for the lives they lead, but I'd prefer both of them stay outside where they belong.

If I found either one in my home, I'd attempt to catch it and release it outdoors. I don't like the idea of killing things just 'cause they're there. Spiders and snakes are just trying to make a living too.

Sneakers or heels?
I have to wear comfortable shoes. The only pair I own that has what one might call a heel I purchased at a store where they sell medical apparel. Doctors and nurses are on their feet a lot. They demand comfortable shoes. So if I must dress up, I wear those. Just don't ask me to diagnose you based on my choice of footwear. I may look JUST LIKE a doctor while wearing them... but I'm still just a glorified babysitter.

Otherwise, a very well cushioned pair of running shoes are usually what's on my feet. I wear Saucony only, and I buy them on sale every time I find them. Right now I only have one pair waiting in the wings... so am on the lookout.

They're butt ugly but wow, they're really comfortable.

And when they're on sale, they're about 40 bucks. Not on sale? $90.00 to $120.00.
I watch for sales.

How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging sporadically in August 2005, and have posted daily since October 23, 2007. That's a whole lotta posts. 1,457 to be exact.

Why do I do it? (bonus question.)
I don't know.

If you were stranded on an island, and could bring three things, what would you bring?

I'll bring a comfortable bed (draped with mosquito netting, of course) my shower with all my shampoos and soaps and face scrubby thing and lots of books to read.
Don't come looking for me too soon, m'kay?

"Live well", "laugh often", or "love much"?
Yes to all three. Won't choose just one... they're all so very important.

Survivor or Supernatural? (the shows)
I am hopelessly boring when it comes to television because I don't usually watch. The last thing I watched on TV was 'Life.' The photography and unique creatures shown were absolutely stunning. I will never forgive the producers for hiring Oprah Winfrey to do the narration.
Ugh.
Before seeing that series, we watched the Vancouver Winter Olympics. We fast forwarded through a majority of the coverage, everything Boob Costas had to say, and all the commercials.

I do love my DVR.

Ghosts or aliens? Do you think either are real?
I don't know if they're real or not. I have had supernatural experiences, and tend to believe in spirit creatures... don't know if you can call them ghosts or not.

Aliens? Hm. It's an awfully big universe. It's easier for me to believe that there are other beings on other planets than it is for me to dismiss the idea.

Now to award/ tag some people. Hmm.
Don't feel obligated, but it really is fun to do these now and then.

Andddd... here are the questions.

You see a small kid riding a bike in the street. No helmet. Does that bother you?

Someone else read your newspaper before you did and mixed it all up and didn't fold it properly. How do you feel?

You're almost done with the laundry. You're on the last load, which happens to be a load of dark clothes. One of your kids brings in a bunch of white socks. Toss them in with the jeans or put them in the hamper to wash later?

You're out shopping with a relative or a friend. You brought a bottle of water, he did not. When you open it and drink some, he wants to have some, too. Do you hand him the bottle and not drink any more out of it yourself? Share it and drink after each other without a second thought?
Or?

You're out to dinner with a girlfriend and there's a very famous male celebrity seated just two tables over. What do you do, if anything?

You just found out your 48 year old best friend is pregnant. (oops)
Do you tell her that you're really, really sorry or do you start celebrating immediately and try to make it seem like it's a good thing while inside you're saying 'I am so glad it's not me' ?

If you could plant your whole back yard with flowers, what kinds would you choose?

Do you like chocolate milk?

Are you afraid to shop or pay bills online?

Are you a cat person?
Why or why not?

I've never done one of these where I had to come up with the questions.
Sort of fun.
