Wrote the letter... now let me take a nap.

I got the letter written yesterday afternoon. I borrowed heavily from my blog post and will hand deliver it to the office this afternoon while I am out.

I'll write his name on the envelope and hand it to the person behind the desk. I will mark the envelope personal and will also verbally inform the person I hand it to.

I figure if I do it that way, there's less chance of someone else being involved in my business by reading the letter.

It's a good letter. Straightforward and clear. Reading back over it, I get sort of pissed off all over again, but that's fading.

I did not have to take any medication during the night last night, and when I woke up around 2 to pee, I was able to get back to sleep without a lot of discomfort.

So I don't have an exciting day planned. In fact, now that I have written a small post, I think I'll go back to sleep for awhile. I don't have to be anywhere until 2:30 when I see Shawn.

I confess to being a little apprehensive about seeing him this afternoon, though. Fallout from the doctor appointment, I guess.

I mostly remain confident that Shawn won't surprise me. But I think I'll remind him, just the same.

I'm glad to hear that you managed to write that letter to the doctor. I'm sure that he had no idea that his behavior could still trigger such a strong response from you. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that during what appears to have been a pretty remarkable recovery from surgery.

When you're feeling stronger, I have a concern that I'd like to ask you about privately. My email is evkod at comcast dot net.

    Thanks.
