I am not an exciting person.

Cleaned a bit this weekend, did some laundry and grocery shopping and running around. There's a bakery just up the street that bakes all sorts of organic breads. I love their stuff, but no one else in the family eats it. Since I eat about two slices of bread a week, it's likely to last ages (no preservatives,) so I stuck both loaves in the freezer.
Good stuff.

Reminds me I have a colon.

::snort::

Viewed a new-to-me Pilates video and an also new-to-me Yoga video, both found at Goodwill. I am planning to try the Yoga this morning, although I know from watching it that I won't be able to do as many reps as the amazingly fit woman in the video.

Baby steps.

I figure as long as I try, as long as I am not giving up, I'll progress. I'm being careful about what I eat, too, although it's not as good as it could be. It's better than it was even six months ago.

Again, baby steps.

I'm not in a huge hurry, that way lies destruction as Jan so honestly and openly put it in
this post. I started reading Jan's blog long before her weight loss.

She just says what she thinks, and sometimes in a wickedly funny way that makes me laugh.

I commented on someone else's blog this week that I just can't let it all hang out... but that I am wholly fascinated with those blog and bloggers who can. Jan's one of them.

That's really the reason I debated starting a private blog. I have things to say that I can't quite manage to post here... too many people who know me personally, I think.

I haven't ruled it out permanently, but won't be doing it any time soon.

I'm a little behind on things tonight, so you get a video for Monday's post.
These guys cracked me up with their Mother's Day video, and not so much on most of the others. This one, though, made me laugh.

  1. I have so many drafts of "Letting it all hang out", but I have never posted them. In a way it does feel good to be able to let it out. sometimes I want to post them to get advice, but then I remember I don't like everyone knowing all my business.
The end of that video was a shocker!

  4. I'm going to read a book 'The Pilates Body'. The chick on the cover has a rockin' bod. Not sure I'll ever be able to do that pose. I hope that just by looking at the pictures, I'll see results....

    Hugs!!
