I don't do resolutions. I confess to having a small sense of optimism and hope for each new year, but that generally wears off by about January 4th, when I wake up and realize that things don't change all that much just because the calendar did.
(I was telling my hubby about this post, and when I got to the part about the optimism wearing off soon, he said, "Yeah, you realize by then that your life STILL SUCKS!" which is not what I meant at all.

Tell your hubby it's ok, my life still sucks too, but what the heck it's the only one I've got and the alternative doesn't sound nearly as much fun - IYKWIM. ;-)
