Lazy

I had to get up at 7:30 yesterday. At least that's when I had the alarm set to go off. Of course, I woke up around 5:30 because I had to go to the bathroom.

And then, as usual, I started to obsess.

I finally got up about 6:20 and finished getting ready for the workshop. I bagged up a bunch of supplies from my past as a troop leader and made two big bags of stuff for new troops.

Beads and pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks and scissors and paintbrushes and paint water containers and sequins and brads and silk fall leaves and spools of ribbon and markers and string... well, stuff that would have been helpful to me when I started as a leader. The new leaders at the workshop really appreciated it. It was a whole grocery bag full of stuff. Haven't even made a dent in my stuff. I definitely need to do more weeding out.

I'll be taking some stuff to work soon, too. I have no reason to keep it.

My portion of the presentation went well. They liked the games and the Cartesian divers. The tearing up of/taping the picture of the woman gave them food for thought, and they took with them the idea that Girl Scouts should be a safe place for girls to grow.

I didn't get anything done at home, of course. Well, I did the dishes.

Today's plan... laundry, a big pot of lentil soup, and grocery shopping.
I really lead a very exciting life, don't I?
