It is all starting to come together, though. I worked on a couple clues yesterday, and prepared the packets that will be hidden on the trail. They're not complete yet, but by the time I arrive (early) at the Girl Scout property on Friday, they'll be ready to go hide on the trails around the camp area.
I have dishes and laundry and cleaning and sorting stuff and things to haul out to the shed... and ::sigh:: things to bring IN from the shed, too.
Yesterday, Eric and Matt went on a hike. Matt worked all night long, and when he got home at 9, they packed up and left. He went to bed around five and to work again at midnight. I remember being young. I could have done that... then. NOT now. :)
Eric has been taking pictures with my new camera on his hikes. He's brought home some great shots.

Click on the picture to see the larger version. This particular one was taken from where he parked the car. I've been on this hike myself, actually.
We hiked up to the top of a ridge where it intersects with the Pacific Crest Trail (the one that goes from Canada to Mexico). On the way back down, right next to the trail, we saw fresh claw marks in a tree. Mountain Lion. As we started to drive home, we saw an actual lion crossing the road. There was no way to even begin to grab my camera, it was there and gone so fast.
I'm hoping that when my feet heal up a bit more that I can go out with him again and take a few pictures of my own. And that any mountain lions I see will be running away from me as fast as they can.
