:::sigh:::

Guess what else I have? Some kind of wacky intestinal thing, although I think it's about over.

I canceled the Girl Scout meeting this morning, something I've only done three times in 10 years.
I just needed to be home, ya know?

I'm feeling pretty good right now, and if I don't have any more, er, trouble (and we don't run out of Immodium), I will be heading off to work about 1:30.

Matt has changed jobs, speaking of work. He's now working a midnight to seven AM shift. He felt it was time for a change. I'm hopeful that he will regulate his amount of sleep properly and be able to rest when he needs to.

I'm going to go rest instead of doing laundry.

  1. I hope you feel better soon. Have you made up your mind about staying with GS or not?
    Hope Matt enjoys his new job and gets the proper sleep he needs. That's a hard shift. My momma worked it almost my whole life.

  2. Yikes! Gastrointestinal distress is nothing to play around with. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids to replenish what you're, uhmm... you know ... losing.

    I know a lot of people don't like the graveyard shift, but I worked it for YEARS when I was in school. If you really can get used to be on "backwards time" you can get a LOT done, but it does take getting used to.

    Good luck with all of it, you certainly have your plate full.

    So sorry you are not feeling well. It is tough to get things done and keep things taken care of with feeling bad. I hope it passes soon;-). No I didn't intend the pun, but it is kind of funny, well for those of us no longer ill.
