My blog, my camera, my kids

Eric's grandma is 90 years old this year. I try to manage a letter to her once a month. Last month, in a burst of inspiration, I pulled a couple posts from my blog, removed the profanity and added them to the letter, telling her they were from my journal. I figured the word blog would be confusing. I caught her up on our activities, and promised to send her some pictures in the next letter.

I got a letter back from her in record time, telling me thank you for the lovely, long letter, praising my talent as a writer and requesting I send more like that one. So I've been searching through the archives and deciding what else to send her. She's my biggest fan, evidently.

Yesterday, I mailed her a card for Mother's Day and didn't have any pictures to enclose, so I dragged my kids outside and shot about 25 pictures of them, hoping to get one good one.

Do you think she will like this one?

    I agree. She'll love it.
    It's so cool that you write those letters to her. Maybe I should start something like that for my husband's grandma who is 90 years old as well.

    That's a great picture, what's not to like.

    Mom #2 will be a grandma later this month - I WILL NOT - so any extra love you can show to grandmas is great to me.
