Thanks to everyone who participated in yesterday's event.
In answer to Kitten's comment from yesterday... I promise... I did not think about the writing assignment until I sat down in front of the computer. The list of random words were really random, and I didn't have a clue about what I was going to write until I started writing. Part of the reason I did this was to jumpstart my writing a bit.
If I ever get a head start, so to speak, I will just not write that assignment... just to be fair. Although I suppose since there's really no big cash prize or anything, no one will come and thwap my head.

I really enjoyed seeing what everyone came up with, and how different all the things were. I hope we have a few more participants next week. It's more fun when you write with a friend, huh?

ReplyDeleteI thought your post was great and I totally believe you about the random thing since if I looked around my house right now I could come up with the exact same list!! Maybe take out bubble and insert pillow.

Great you had some wonderful participants for your first week. I agree with Kitten on her blog she said she might give the assignment to her son. Sounds like a good home school thing to do.
