I've been up four hours... how about you?

I woke up at 3:00. It's just about 7:00 now. Urgh.

I laid there in my nice warm bed until about 3:40, trying to go back to sleep instead of getting up to go to the bathroom. Didn't work.

I had to pee, I was hungry, and I had the beginnings of a pretty good headache.
I finally got up and went to the bathroom, made myself a small glass of instant breakfast, and took two Excedrin. Then, I went back to bed and laid there until 6:00, wondering why I was still awake.

Phooey.

I don't have a headache now, though. It's really strange to me still to be able to take something for a headache and actually have it work. For the past 3 years or so, that hasn't been the case. I feel one coming on, take aspirin or Excedrin and it just gets worse anyway. Worse and worse until I finally get sick and have to spend a day or two holding in my eyeball when I cough or sneeze, walking around in the dark, and just feeling horrible.

Today is our Girl Scout meeting. We're going to make mini-greenhouses out of two liter soda bottles. I probably have 30 or so stored out in the shed. I have to run to Sprawlmart for aquarium gravel, potting soil, and seeds. I'm going to make a little greenhouse for me, too. I usually don't make whatever project we're doing, because I don't want the girls to use my example to base their creativity on. Not that they would... bunch of independent, creative thinkers, they are.

I'm so happy about having this week off from work. It's not that I don't love my job, but I love having a break now and then.

No other news. Headache is about 90% gone, weather is rainy and a bit chilly, and I have about 90 things to do before our meeting.
