Leggings. Oh my gawd.
People actually buy and wear the things found on this website? Or is it just a joke/hoax?
:::shudder:::
I still have to wrap the gifts, finish cleaning the house, do the grocery shopping (and it will be late tonight when I do that... no way in hell will I go grocery shopping while everyone else is out Christmas shopping!)
I haven't had a shower yet today, although I took one late last night, so I don't smell too bad. Yet.
I have a little sore throat, but I know for sure it's not strep, because it's little. Hasn't gotten worse. No fever. No other symptoms. Let's keep it that way, shall we?
I'm gradually weeding through the pile on the kitchen table as I watch Freaks and Geeks. Loved that show, and I was so disappointed when they cancelled it. But I digress. Of course, that's what I do. It's why you read here, isn't it?
The top of the kitchen table resembles an archeological dig. Seriously. One can go layer by layer and get an accurate picture of what's gone on in our lives since the last time we saw the table top. Paycheck stubs, bills that were paid online and the paper versions of them that have not yet been shredded, birthday cards, Christmas cards, a macrame choker project for Lyssa that I finally finished this morning, DVDs, cash (don't get excited, it's small amounts of cash) crumbs from who knows what meals... it's been at least two weeks since anyone actually sat there to eat a meal.
I need to invite people over more often, it makes everyone pitch in and clean.
I had toyed with the idea of photographing the table before I started and after I get done, but I would be too embarrassed to post them.
You'd all learn that I have feet of clay.
And Kelly? Where is your blog? Email me at AmiMental@gmail.com when you get a new one or to tell me what the hell is going on???

I'm hiding out in the family room for a quick breather before I tackle the wrapping mountain!
ReplyDeleteBEst wishes
This is my calling card or link"Whittereronautism"which takes you straight to my new blog.
Well..I wouldn't shop there. They probably don't have my size :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you find your table soon. It is a lot easier to eat on it when the plates are level.
My mom had this pair of "jeans" that were stretchy. She loved them because they were comfy. Unfortunately, she is apple shaped with skinny little legs and the "jeans" sagged in her crotch area. We finally convinced her to ditch the jeans in her last yard sale.
ReplyDeleteGood riddance! I wish I had no horizontal surfaces in my house. I wonder how I can accomplish this...
What does clay feet mean?
The feet of clay reference is biblical in origin, but used indiscriminately by all kinds of people now. Here's a link explaining it better than I can.

I think we know each other? Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteMy MIL and I have a joke whenever we visit each other's house we say "Thank goodness you came, I needed to clean the house! Please come again soon so it gets cleaned again!"
