Happy Valentine's Day

Today all the kids at work were very excited. Valentine's Day! Woohooo! Candy! Cards! Flowers! I don't think any of them are married yet, but you know, kids grow up pretty fast these days...

Anyway, we have one little one,(she's 6) who is very creative. I'll call her Kayla. She loves to do art projects, and I've started taking my garbage to work for her. Not all of it, of course, just the paper towel rolls, special packaging, little bits of cardboard, anything unusual that I think she might want to make a collage with or make SOMETHING with. Of course, I put it out for all the kids, but she's usually the one who uses most of it.

Well, Kayla was very caught up in the spirit of the day. Not only did she bring valentine candy for me and for Sunshine, she made a little card for every one of the 30 kids who were there this afternoon. She drew little hearts on the outside, and wrote the name of the recipient and "from Kayla" on each one. On the inside, she wrote little messages. Here's my favorite:
