We made the tops on Friday afternoon. Some of the kids left before we got the stuff out... so we'll be doing them again this next week, I'm sure.
I don't think even the moms of the kids would recognize them from the photo, so I went ahead and put it up here.
Last week, Eric built a play structure for me from PVC. I can't cover the sides, because I need to see the kids at all times, but put a roof on and it's a house. Or an office. Or a restaurant. Or whatever they want it to be.
Rachelle* calls it the house that Eric built as in, "Are you going to set up the house that Eric built for us today?"
So here's a picture of that.
And before you beat me to it, don't they look happy?

And yes.
That is a tie dyed sheet.
A King-sized tie dyed sheet.
And yep. I did dye it.
I didn't know any better at the time.
:)
Fab house! Love the die-dyed sheet ... :0)

ReplyDeleteWow, those are so great. The tops are beautiful and the tie dye is amazing. You are very talented!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the tops... I'm going to steal your idea for my crazy kids. And the PVC house, BRILLIANT! When the washer box goes, this could be a good option for my youngest! -J

ReplyDeleteI bet the kids just LOVE to be in your program! I know I WOULD!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the age limit for your class? I wanna come!
ReplyDeleteI love it. You are so creative. You make me smile. Even if you don't appreciate corny jokes : ) Punk! : ) XO
ReplyDeleteI love the tops but I really, really love the Tie Dyed sheet! That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteRe. the hammered project, you really have to bang the crap outta them. And use 100% cotton, mine was cheapo and tore very easily. :)
Happy week.
I just love both of these! The house reminds me of the hours of fun we'd have making 'tents' in the living room when we were growing up (and when our own kids were little). You know the kinds of tents I'm talking about...when you'd drape a sheet or blanket over the chairs and anything else that was tall enough to keep the blanket off your head. I like your idea even better! :)
