On tap for today..
Take the too-large knee brace back I bought on Saturday to the medical supply store and exchange it for the next size down. I think I need to wear one so my knee will stay straight while I'm up and about. It seems to want to wobble a bit, and when I correct my balance, it sometimes hurts/pops.
Take the signed stuff back to the loan place along with at least two forms of ID for each of us so they can make copies and get the refi on the road.
Stop at Goodwill.
For every $200.00 you spend, Goodwill's registers kick out a $10.00 store credit. One has 30 days to use it, and the one I have was handed to me on April 17th.
Practice typing random letters and numbers some more.
I got a letter inviting me to take the CritiCall test again, so I'm practicing like mad.
I don't know if my typing speed on certain sections of the test was the issue, unfortunately. But it's the only variable I have any control over, so it only makes sense to be as prepared as possible. The test is June 19th.
Laundry. It's all clean, but needs to be hung, put away, etc. I still have no room in the linen cabinet in the hall because I haven't tossed out the stuff we no longer need.
Cram some stuff in a bag to take to work. I have gone through all sorts of cupboards and hiding places and found more things that need to go OUT. I can use them at work to keep kids amused.
Work. I'll be going without my crutches, but I will have a knee brace on the right leg. I was off the crutches all weekend. It's better, but I'm still walking slowly and cautiously.
The only one of these things that can happen while I am sitting here is the typing practice. And that will have to wait until later, since I have to get out the door.
I bet you wish your life was as exciting as mine!
I'm on vacation and I don't know where to start. I need to sort through stuff, toss and make room for the kids pool in the back yard.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could come and help me!!
Hugs!!
I'm glad your knee is a little better. Be careful running after those kiddos at work.
