I took a Percocet last night.
I hate that shit, but it works. It makes me have dry mouth and makes my face all puffy the next morning. I don't take them unless I really need to, that's for sure.
I slept like a dead thing and the only really sore places I have this morning are my little toe (it's turning some pretty colors, especially on the bottom) and a place in the middle of my upper back. Not too bad, I guess.
I know that going for an adjustment yesterday is what kept me from being in awful shape this morning.
I felt so much better after visiting my friends. :)
I was thinking about going back to bed for awhile, it's not even 10 a.m. yet.
Eric suggested that the crash I had yesterday is really similar to a car wreck. Ha. I even have airbags.
::snicker::
I am going to order a couple new dyes from Dharma Trading today. Lyssa and I are going to go visit my parents, and my mom wants to try tie dyeing. I have all the bottles and all the other stuff I need, but there are a couple new colors for this year. They look yummy.
My Girl Scouts want to do tie dyeing when we go on our late summer outing, too. I'd better start watching for t-shirts when I visit Goodwill, huh? Someone always forgets, and I don't want anyone left out.
I'm also going to pick up a package or two of socks at Sprawlmart. They're fun to dye to match the shirts.
Well, I didn't get anything done yesterday besides a lot of complaining. I did manage to load the dishwasher and run the dishes, but there are lots of other things stacking up that need doing. I guess since I'm the mom it's my job, huh?
Okay, off to Dharma Trading.
I love shopping online. I can shop in my bathrobe with my hair all frowzled.
Huh.
Spell check doesn't like that word!
I don't care though, since I do.
The word stays.
Oh man! I hope you feel much better soon. They say you don't need that pinkie toe, but it sure hurts to walk on a sore or broken one! Must be using it for something.
ReplyDeleteAir bags . . . fun bags . . . multipurpose tools for sure. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better. It sounds like you may need to delegate some of those Mom-chores to someone else for a day or two.
I hate anything tie dyed... I wore tie dye stuff so much as a kid, I think I'm all tie dyed out.
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way, I am a big pinky toe abuser. I hurt it as often as possible, preferably the one on my right foot. Door frames, kitchen counters, table legs... you name it. I search them, I run into them, have a screaming fit, watch my poor pinky swell up like a ripe plum, compare it with my tiny little left pinky toe, and feel sorry for my stupid self.
These days, it doesn't really get back into its normal shape. I think I have permanently deformed it.
