The weekend just zipped by. First Aid/CPR on Thursday, then a shift at work, a little housework and a little sleeping on Friday (official headache day) and then the regular weekend. Groceries, laundry, more laundry.
Watched that crazy man jump from the stratosphere back to earth on Sunday morning. (I guess that qualifies as this week's religious experience?) We were watching 'live' although my understanding is that it was on a 20 second delay for obvious reasons. At the beginning of his jump, he started some tumbling/spinning that sent me OUT of the room, I did not want to watch, but he recovered from that and I saw the rest of the fall. Can't really call it a jump, I suppose.
We ran out of laundry soap on Sunday evening. I had enough to finish all the laundry, but we know that's a temporary thing and that the laundry will be back and bring friends.
Speaking of friends, we have a snail in our fish tank. He/She/It has reproduced and there are tons of tiny ones and one big Grandpa snail. I took a few photos of it Sunday afternoon with my little camera, but they're just not that great. I'll haul out the big camera this week and try to get a couple shots, because it really is an amazing creature.
I have news on the legal front, but can't figure out how to say it in 10 minutes or less, and I don't want to sit here and try to do that, so I won't.
But I can tell you that I was mistaken about the hearing that may or may not occur this afternoon.
The previous hearing went much better than I had realized, and we actually won just about every point. Including the insurer being ordered to pay for my surgery that I paid for myself in December.
The order was issued in July.
They've yet to pay anything.
Surprise.
So today's hearing is over one small point, don't want to discuss it, don't want to go to hearing... will fill you in more later.
Send good thoughts that we don't end up having a hearing after all. I really, really, really don't want to do it.
My weekend was much like yours, just throw in an Autism walk and cooking for forty little kids at sunday school...
