I have had the worst time making Blogger work.
It's Friday night, and had I not written the post that showed up this morning on Thursday night, I would just now be getting around to posting because I couldn't access my damn blog!!
So I am writing now and hoping it will post at 6 AM Saturday.
Now, about the title of this post.
I think we're going to need to put up a new sign in the cafeteria. We'll just call it the bathroom, shall we?
Yes, another kid had wet pants this week.
Drew* has special needs (autism with a side order of bladder control issues) and occasionally wets.
It's not a huge deal, we just get him out into the hallway and run up to the office to get his clothes. But he is unable to wear just anything, so his mom leaves clothes in the office for him. He can't stand snaps or zippers on his clothing, and has to wear his underwear inside out. Fortunately the office staff was still on duty when he had the accident, so we were able to give him his clean things and he didn't spend the afternoon ostracized... at least not for that.
I'll write you a post on Saturday about today's (Friday's) incident involving him.
I'm just livid, to tell you the truth. But I can't coherently write when everyone is sitting in the living room with me, I have to keep backspacing and editing and can't keep my train of thought on the tracks.
So... later.

ReplyDeleteI had a tough time accessing my blog this week too, with the internet down. I started one post on a word doc to copy and paste when it popped on for a few minutes. I finished my post and waited for it to pop on again to post it. I hate when I can't do what I want to when I want to. I am selfish that way.
ReplyDeleteWow, tough to deal with a kid wetting even if it is not his fault especially when there are special provisions required.
You are the second person beside me that has problems. I just thought it was my computer. Part of it was.
ReplyDeleteAfter I ran that disk here while back because of computer problems I started having more problems. I called Gateway and found out that the disk I ran had not only deleted all my files, but some important files on my computer. Meaning my computer could crash. So, I had to order a different disk to put these components back. Hopefully my computer problems are behind me.
PS. About your comment; I'm about 60/40 if not 50/50 at times happy. I still don't know what to do about it. But, I can honestly say that I'm happy enough in other areas to keep me going. (kids)

I couldn't get on your blog for a little while last week. I can't remember when . . . I had to keep reloading the page, but as you can see I don't have much else going on in my life . . . so I just waited and eventually it came back up.
ReplyDeletePoor pee pee kiddo. I always feel so bad for kids with these particular special needs. Like life isn't hard enough.
